Today I recieved a letter from the VA, I figured it was probably just another letter assuring me that they're working on my disability claim and blah blah blah. But in fact it was a letter informing me that I am being awarded disability pay. Now that itself is cool because I didn't think they would even give me squat. Then I check to see how much, expecting it to be like a hundred if I'm lucky; which I would still be very appreciative of just to get anything. When I saw the figure I thought it was a mistake, it couldn't be right. Upon a second look I saw that it in fact was, $324 a month! I was given a 30% rating for depression aggrivated by military service. I'm getting a check next month that should be to the tune of $5000 for 15 months back pay!!! I can't believe how perfect the timing is and everything. Now that I'm getting my life back in order and all of a sudden heres a shitload of money. And that means Julia that I'll pay you back promptly next month, as soon as I get my check I'm getting the cash and handing it to you along with my deepest apologies. Then I go to get my paycheck expecting it to be maybe a little over a hundred and it turns out to be 333 bucks! I was thinking I wouldn't be able to pay off my phone til next month but there goes lady luck workin for me again.

"Are you mad Trebeck, you're sitting on a goldmine!"

Today I finally bought my first goddamn car. This baby is hot to trot. I got the title signed over to me and registered it today and here you get your license plate right up front, not like in CAli where you gotta wait for it to be mailed to you. But a huge storm rolled in so I didn't wanna drive it back to base since I'm not that confident with a stick shift yet. So its still at my boss' house but I'll get it tommorrow. It cost 150 bucks to register and then I needed to pay him the 1300 for the car. but the bank couldn't do a transfer so they upped my ATM limit to 1300 for the day. So after work I went to the ATM and put in the amount but it could only give me 1000 bucks. You know the noise it makes when it counts the bills as it slaps em down into the depositor? Of course you do jackass! Well that sound went on for like five minutes and then it dispensed a "PHAT STACK" of 20s! It was pretty cool to have all that ciznash in my grubby hands but then I had to hand it over.I'll be sure to do a lot of driving around this weekend to get the hang of the stick shift. now i've been playing Battlefiield for awhile and my back hurts cause I'm sitting on a freakin stool instead of a freakin chair. I'll post pics of the car this weekend. Got a pretest tommorrow that I gotta get high scores on so wish me luck. No you say? Well you can all go to hell!

Heres the 411 on my recent victories:
Friday 1430 hours: I got my drivers license at long last!!! With my superior driving skills I proved to an old man with broken teeth that I can apply by the driving rules of North Cackylack so now I got my license and this week I'll be buying a car. What car you ask? A small red two seater sports car, a 91' Mazda RX7 5 speed! For a killer price to! It feels like a weights been lifted off my shoulders cause thats one less thing I need to worry about now. I just need to get good at driving a manual which shouldn't take too long. So alls well.
Saturday: The new dorm furniture came so I had to get up at 7 in the morning and start moving my old stuff out and the new stuff in. Only I spent the previous night packin up my room til 5 in the morning so the whole day I was deliriously tired and starving while carrying large heavy objects to and fro and finally I ate some mcDonalds and passed out til 9 in the evening then got up and set my whole room up. now its all good, I'll post some pics here and you can all pretend we're hanging out in my room laughing it up and telling dirty jokes to try and ease the sexual tension!

Keep in mind the purple curtains were NOT my choice, they are issue.

I don't know how much shit has happened lately.in the last few weeks I know that I've been learning a whole lot about my job. I took three weeks of intense training on all the equipment in our shop, save for the 20 mil gun. This time all spent with the funniest/coolest of all FTD instructors SSGT.TOLER, he's a big funny king of the hill like fella from Georgia who could never stop joking and made class pretty damn fun. He'd regail us with such amusing anticdotes like: "When I was a kid, we were so poor that if you didn't wake up with a hard on you had nothing to play with all day!" *laugh track* my social life consists mostly of me and all my good television personality friends and of course my real friends...online that is. Its almost the same as hanging out with them only not at all. How sad is that? I really don't know...then again who cares I have the perfect outlet for any kind of boredome, frustration, or time killing. Battlefield 1942~! I can't stop playing. WWII battles, or desert combat battles americans vs. iraqis. I'm such a good fuckin sniper! Yesterday I was playing Omaha beach, and I had 11 confirmed head shots. I just sat there waiting for those poor Iraqi bastards to pop their heads over the sandwall so I could squeeze that trigger and giggle like a giddy school girl as I saw the head snap back and the helmet go flying. Ahh...sweet release. Today is a day off for me and I used it thus far to watch Scooby doo and Courage under fire. Plus I went and got a haircut that I was in dire need of. I was supposed to get it cut on friday because I was waaaaay out of regulation. Of course I didn't, and then I overslept on saturday so no luck there. They weren't open on sunday, monday....I took a nap as soon as I got back. So today I went and they were closed, so I got a ride with my friend to a barbershop called McFly's! It was right off base and the guy did a great job, much better than the barber shop on base. I think I'll start going to McFly's from now on. Plus he gives you a free piece of candy after every haircut! Sure its laced with a powerful sedative, but who could resist an atomic fireball!!!? This is a big week as far as things happening, because on thursday is my BIG drivers test. If I pass there will be glorious rejoicing, if I fail there will be nothing but taunts and shame for the rest of my life. or until I take it again five days later. But I should do fine, its not that hard to cruise around town at 35mph. Then assuming I pass, I'll be buying my car at long last. My supervisors been waiting forever for me to get my license so I can buy his little car. 91' MAZDA RX7 for all you that dont' know. In ok condition, red two seater 5 speed manual. Yeah, manual. Driving a manual is tricky, I still need some practice before I'll totally have the hang of it. Now I'll just bullshit as usual til I can come home. nothing else to say

well I'm kinda buzzed, 9 beers and I'm not close to being drunk. This week has been fuckin stupid. Monday and Tuesday I had to go around delivering phone books to all the crackheads in town. I was surprised to see that there are a lot of rich as neighborhoods here, where people have giant three story houses and fountains and what not, it reminds me of Palo Alto. Then I got hit on by a huge crackwhore who had prison tats and no front teeth. Almost get attacked by a big German Shephard. Drank a lot friday and watched the Cubs game, went to the airshow on base today and it sucked ass. Tried to hook up with a girl and got shot down like a Syrian MIG. Tried to watch the cubs game tonight, realized I really don't care and now i'm just fucking out of it. I wish I had a car cause if I did I would drive west and just keep going til I found something worth stopping for. Only a few more weeks til I actually have a car, I wonder what I'll do when I actually have one. I keep sitting around just thinking about the absurd life I live...and I wonder if this is even me that I'm experienceing, or if its something greater, or lesser..or anything. Fuck I don't know really. I just don't know and I don't know if I even care what happens.I might be out of here in a few months the way I'm going. Who knows. It'd probably be for the better...

    <lj:music>Braid-Lucky to be alive</lj:music>

Hmm..its been a busy week. Thursday was the supposed "hurricane" which was more like a weak little wind storm with some light rain. Nothing happened, except for some garbage getting blown around and a few small branches falling down. But for some reason the power went out anyways. So everyone in the dorms went wild. People were running around with glow sticks and yelling across the buildings to each other. Some guy was sneaking around in a scary ape mask scaring people. The sky looked really cool though, without all the light. I wish it were like that all the time. I saw a couple of transformers blow up, they went up in big blue blasts. And I met this cool girl who happens to like Radiohead as much as I do, along with a lot of other cool music, so we hung out all night talking about music and other stuff.

Friday- So I wake up at 8 in the morning to Alcover bangin on my door, he tells me that he just got the call and we need to come in at 9. The night before they had told us not to come in friday but on saturday. And there I am standin in my boxers as the First shirt walks by along with a leutenant. They just said good morning and carried on. But I had to wake myself up since I had been up til like four in the morning th enight before. When we went into work we didn't do jack squat, then later we were supposed to clean up some of the junk around the base but that didn't last long and then we just stayed til the regular end of the day doing nothing. Luckily though we didn't have to come in on saturday. So friday night I hung out with my peeps.

Saturday-We got up early to head to the paintball field where me and my three chums were to spend the unbelievably hot day filling up the air obstacles and setting up the air field while trying to stave off heat stroke and fight off vicious bug attacks. But all was well because I bought my new gun!!! Its a GenX-3 Chaos series Autococker- http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/998/
As you can see it normally costs almost $700 and thats without a barrel. I paid $375 for mine, slightly used but in great condition with a sleek teflon barrel, a superfly bolt and a new reg. That adds up to some few hundred dollars more in upgrades. It seriously the deal of a lifetime. So now I have a top line gun and after setting up the field we started practice with the team. I was basically trying out for this team that my friends are already on. Its called the Dragon Slayers. Anyways, we did a lot of scrimages and some accuracy practice and I'm on the team! The positions for the B team aren't really decided yet, but my position is pretty much agreed upon as the forward on the snake. The snake being a long snakelike obstacle which it would be my goal to get to and make my way down to the enemy side so that I can pick off their players from behind enemy lines. Its a tough position. But me being small and fast, I'm very ideal for it.All in all I had a really awesome time and I can't wait for practice this saturday.

Sunday- didn't do much on this day except reaarrange my room, I like to do that every few months to keep thigns interesting.

And the rest of the work week has been pretty normal. Tuesday I had the day off and relaxed and today I had a hell of a time trying to work on a missile launcher because of one tiny little missing piece I have to gut the whole thing. Oh well, friday is sports day on base where we all just go play different sports. Then saturday its paintball time! I'll end this stylin entry with a classic of mine: BOOOYEAH!!!!

Oh yeah, I'm growing a mustache even though I once vowed I never would. Lets see how it all turns out.

I'm in the middle of a hurricane, its getting pretty insane out there. the power went out in half my room, then the other half went out and came back on a few times and then it all came back on. The winds are supposed to get really strong in another hour or two and then I'm gonna go out and brave the storm, and try to take pictures.

I felt his pain, It was like my soul had been withered away there was an empty void and I just laid in a dark room slowly dying of heartbreak and I chose to just go and see if we are united in the next life
I totally felt his pain dude.
